Nothing But the Blood of Jesus

Beautiful, powerful, restful.

Thank you Lord!

Yes, nothing but the Blood of Jesus!

Thank you Lord Jesus!

The blood of Christ has never lost its power.

Yes, praise the Lord for setting bondages free!

Binding up wounds

Restoring lost years

Reconciling the world back to Abba Daddy God!

Praise Jesus!

Amen

Casting our cares unto the Lord

Do not be anxious about anything instead in everything by prayer and supplications, make your request unto the Lord, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guide your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Cast all your cares upon the Lord for you are His personal concern.

Two or three of our sisters from my previous church had come down with cancer at different times. At one visitation, I heard one of us said in consolation to the sickly one “we don’t know when our turn will come” … in my heart I said to myself “I reject that in Jesus’ name”.

The beauty of this church is, it is small, a very closely-knitted church. Most of us have been there for more than 10 over years. We meet one another every Sunday and on some weekdays of the month for ministries.

The beauty of this church is, when one of them suffers, the whole church got to know about it through the mass email and the whole church prays (since the church is not so large). Also the most interesting of all is, this church does not indeed believe in the manifestation of the power of God in terms publicly praying for the sick or the needy in the church service. They do it on a one to one basis laying hands over the sick. Especially sharing their prayer requests in their own Oikos fellowship level. The fact is that they can share, they will share, they dare to bare their needs in the presence of their own brothers and sisters in the Lord, they know the power of prayer and the power of the One whom they pray to.

More interestingly is the fact that, they will also go out to other mega churches in the country, especially where they hear of healing rallies taking place, they will accompany their sick there.

And in most cases, we hear of step by step improvements in their sicknesses, their good response to the chemo therapies, and some even completely healed of their plight. I hear of one instantaneous healing of cancer too.

I personally know of one who discovered she has breast cancer, and the whole church in email broadcast was praying for her throughout the progress of her treatment. And she has indeed come out stronger and bolder in the Lord. Even her then fiance did not waiver to take her as his bride. She was completely well. They recently walked down the aisle tied the knot together.

Sometimes casting our cares to the Lord does not mean to keep quiet, to remain private. Many times those of us who are struggling in one area of challenge in our lives must learn to let go of our pride and even our privacy to rally the prayer support of others around us.

If the paralytic man had not made known his wishes to be healed by Jesus to his four friends how would they have the boldness to break the roof and lower him down in the room filled with and in the presence of all the top teachers of the Law, the Pharisees, the who-is-who in those days.

I suspect the one who hides his needs and acts tough seems to be fighting the battle alone and finds it tougher compared to the one who seems to say help me, stand in faith with me, pray alongside me till I come out the other side completely whole, prosperous and well has a higher chance of receiving what he/she asks of the Lord.

Don’t hide for privacy’s sake, don’t hide for pride’s sake, don’t hide just because you need to “protect” the name of the Lord by appearing that all is fine.

Whose fault is it that this man was born blind? His or his parents?
Neither, but that the glory of God might be revealed.

We don’t ask why this happened that the man was in such a huge mountain of debt, or the lady is in such sorry state. But as they bare their souls to the Lord and to the church, let us pray that the glory of the Lord be manifested in their lives. The glory, the deliverance, the goodness of our loving Abba Father.

Dear Abba Father,

Thank you for forgiving us all our sins, our unrighteouness and our self righteousness. Thank you for giving us your everlasting righteousness in the person of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for giving us your righteousness.

Hence, no weapons formed against us shall prosper, every tongue that rises against us we shall condemn. For our righteousness is from You, this is our inheritance, we the servants as well as the children of the Lord Most High.

The prayer of the righteous accomplishes much. Especially the prayer inline with Your Word, Your will for our lives.

Thank you for making us healthy, wealthy and happy in the Lord everyday.

Your word says

Beloved, above all things, I pray that you will prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers.

So we know it is in Your Will for us to be prosperous here on earth.

Your Will for us to be healthy and to remain healthy all the days of our lives.

Also Your will for us to be happy, holy and pure in Christ, soul prosperity, all the days of our lives.

Since it is Your Will, You will accomplish all the above in our lives not by our own efforts or by our own might but by Your Spirit. You will keep us in Christ all the days of our lives.

We are Your beloved children.

You spoke to me yesterday, notice the righteous shall inherit the land?

Psalm 37:29 the righteous will inherit the land
and dwell in it forever.

Inherit means you need not pay for it, My Son already did.

Thank you Abba Father.

Be it unto us according to Your Word.

In Jesus’ Name Amen

Good News to the Poor, Healing the Broken-hearted, Deliverance to the Captives

Luke 4
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

21And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

Let us give thanks to the Lord for His goodness and His glory in our lives right now.

found this video in YouTube ... which is most appropriate ...

Let the Holy Spirit minister to us in His Words and let His glory manifest in our lives as the supernatural touches the natural.

Shalom

Are you keeping quiet?

The story that I heard sometime back came into my mind recently.

It was about two prominent leaders who went on a fishing trip one day.

Both leaders let down their lines in their own territory side of the boat.

At the end of the fishing session, one leader caught some fish but the other did not.

The one who caught some fish happened to be the leader of a group of people who speaks up about their situations in their organisation.

The other who caught nothing happened to a leader of a group of people who do not speak up whatever they are going through. The fishes, like the people, do not open their mouths and hence they are not caught.

Just for laugh.

The devil is very happy when God's children keep quiet to God about their struggles, try to put up a front and they do their best not to worry. Instead they vent their frustrations on their loved ones, short-temperedness, impatience, rudeness, etc.

The way not to worry is to go to God in prayer about our worries, never mind if we are long-winded, until we receive the release in our spirit that we have fully handed the matter over to the Lord.

And we will find that breakthrough is indeed within a matter of days.

Philippians 4
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Godliness with Contentment

1Timothy 6
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Colossians 3
2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

When the glory of Christ descends upon our lives, all bondage of our lives cease to be, there bondage of sins, debts, sicknesses, unclean habits, lack, sorrows, despair, hopelessness, etc will all have to go in the presence of the glory of the Almighty.

And we, His redeemed children, have direct access to His glory in Christ Jesus.

I like this version of Colossians 3:11 (Living Bible Edition)
In this new life one's nationality or race or education or social position is unimportant; such things remain nothing. Whether a person has Christ is what matters, and he is equally available to all.

John 15
5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Focus on Christ not Self

Heb12: 2a Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith ...

Focusing on Christ, not self, will help us overcome our shyness, our inferiority complex, our pride and our ego.

And would help us do the extraordinary, like Peter, walking on the water, like Paul and the early disciples, healing the multitudes, etc.

Many of Jesus' disciples today are doing exactly like the Master, healing and restoring the multitudes.

All it takes is for these people to look away from themselves and their weaknesses and looking unto Jesus the Saviour of the world.

It is the Lord's pleasure to take / use the simple / foolish things of the world to confound the wise, that man should not glory except in the glory of the Lord God Almighty.

Matt 14:3a
Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus...

Do whatever He tells you to do

John 2:
5His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.

This is Mary, the same woman, whom the angel Gabriel appeared to some thirty years ago with the Good News.

Luke 1:
37For with God nothing shall be impossible.
38And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.

So whatsoever the Lord revealed to us about our lives, to prosper us and not to tear us down, to give us a hope and a future, let us say "Amen" to Him.

Amen - be it unto me according to thy word.

Seek Ye First

Isa 30
19For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.

20And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers:

21And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

22Ye shall defile also the covering of thy graven images of silver, and the ornament of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as a menstruous cloth; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.

23Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.

24The oxen likewise and the young asses that ear the ground shall eat clean provender, which hath been winnowed with the shovel and with the fan.

25And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.

26Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.

Proverbs 3
13Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

14For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

15She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

16Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

17Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

18She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

Jesus is our tree of life, our wisdom, embrace Him, gold and silver are temporal by-products, Jesus alone is eternal joy, peace and shalom.

Remember the Lord Our God

Deu 8
18But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Luke 22
19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Be reconciled to God

Psalm 49
7None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
8(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)
9That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.

The soul of man is far too precious to be redeemed by all the riches in this world combined, no it cannot even buy eternal life for just one soul, to keep it out of hell.

1 Corinthians 1
17For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
18For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
19For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

2 Corinthians 5
17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

John 3
15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

The Kingdom of Heaven, Seedtime and Harvest

Matthew 13
11He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

16But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

23But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

31Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:

32Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

33Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.

Genesis 26
12Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

14For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

Matthew 6
33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Isaac sowed in time of famine and he reaped 100fold in the same year

It was famine, Isaac sowed in the land, and in the same year he reaped 100fold. He became rich and his wealth continued to grow until he
became very wealthy ... even the Philistines envied him. See Gen 26.

Genesis 26
1And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar.

12Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

13And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

14For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

This is the manifested blessing of the Lord in Isaac's life.

And we are in Christ, in the Seed of Abraham.
We can expect such blessing in our lives too.

Confess everyday: "I am the righteousness of God in Christ"
Why? See Matt 6:33

Matthew 6:33 (King James Version)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God,
and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

I just came back from a free lodging and food one week holiday in Maldives.

I bought my loved ones and friends (about 11 persons) 3 hotel rooms one night stay in July 2007.

And this year before July 2008, I received a free trip to Malaysia Genting Highlands (two nights, plus transport), and free 5 nights food and accommodation in Maldives.

I praise the Lord for the faithfulness of His Word.

HE indeed keeps watch over His Word to perform it.

Finding a Life Partner

In one of my pastor's messages he mentioned how a gal should look for a boy friend

It is very unusual ... I never heard of it before anywhere else ... I think this is also how a guy look for a girl friend too ...
so i would like to share with you ...

It is not how spiritual the person is ... (I was shocked!!!)

Yes, the person should preferably be found in church setting ... (Jesus sat at the well,
Abraham's servant found a wife for Isaac at the well, well here could mean church,
a place where you are nourished with the water of God's word) ... of the same faith ...

But what shocked me most is really a good companion or life partner is not necessarily someone
who is very busy serving the Lord in church.
Or even someone who is very busy in his/her life in his/her career.

Esp when we ourselves are the types that prefer our partner to spend time with us, with the family,
play with us, eat with us, enjoy life with us types ... if ... we find someone who is always so busy and
running around outside very much ... how can he/she afford time for his/her loved ones at home?

These family members would have to be very independant and also sacrificial
(willing to let go of the person for a bigger "good") ...
otherwise the homely partner would be at a disadvantage in the marriage.
Well, for every sacrifice that churchy partner makes, he/she better makes sure his/her family gets quality time
and attention and not have the feeling of abandonment or insecurity.

Come to think of this, we really appreciate the time and sacrifices our pastors and families
have made for our sakes. Of course I really wish and also pray for them,
that these full-time ministers would also juggle time spent in ministry as well as time spent with family appropriately.

Like I ever said, We don't need a partner who throws the Bible at us,
demanding me to meet the demands of the Word.
For example "You are wife, you must submit to me your husband." (Implying that everything he says I must obey and do???) .

We need someone who truly loves me and loves me at my level as myself ...
and knowing my faults, gently come alongside help me improve.
We don't need a nagger, neither do we need someone who is always pointing out our faults.

Really, life is too short for such nonsense.

We need someone who loves us ... fans into flames and hones our strengths.
In this way, I think we can bloom more beautifully.

Even plants respond positively to classical music and postive words,
and they respond badly when people speak terrible words to them (experimentally proven).

Likewise, this should also be how we teach our little ones too.
Not nagging, but coming alongside helping them along.

Even Jesus, the Lord of the Ressurection and the Life, did not reprimand his very loved disciple,
Thomas for saying "Let us also go, that we may die with him. " John 11:16b

What I am trying to say is, to makes things work, there must be much grace.
Grace that overlooks faults and gently reaches out in love.

Kingdom of God

Luke 17:19-21 (King James Version)

19And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

20And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

21Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Luke 12:30-32 (King James Version)

30For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.

31But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

32Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Luke 18:28-30 (King James Version)

28Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.

29And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,

30Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

John 3:3
3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John3:5

5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

1Cor 4:20

20For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

1 Corinthians 15:49-51

49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Romans 14:17

17For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Revelation 12:10 (King James Version)

10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

I am righteous in Chist

In the past, as often as I confessed my sins and prayed for forgiveness, the prayer requests that followed after that, I just felt that they are pure and are heard and will definitely be answered. Especially when these requests are unselfish and for the general good. It was such simple faith.

Now, as I am older and understand more about righteousness ... there is a great difference between my own righteousness and His righteousness.

In the verse, Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

Notice that it is His righteousness that we need to seek and not ours per se.

So what on earth is His righteousness?

As we all know ... the prayer of the righteous man accomplishes much. Also the prayer of a righteous woman too ... of course ....

I have been having this knot in my mind, this mental block for quite a while
to reconcile or understand the difference between the two kinds of righteousnesses.

My own righteousness and His righteousness.

Mind you, our own righteousness is like filthy rags, in the original Hebrew language the word filthy rag literally means a woman's soiled sanitary napkin.

So we really cannot depend on our own righteousness when we approach the throne room of our Abba Father, our Daddy God.

So it is not by our own works nor our own merits that we come to Him.

It is purely and entirely by His grace ... and banging upon His righteousness, not ours.

When I recite "I am the righteouness of God in Christ" often, I still don't get what I was saying for a couple of years already. You may say I am slow. But seriously, I am trying to figure out what is this righteousness of God all about?

Esp when you read the verse in Isaiah 54 verse 17

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

not our own righteousness but of His ...

Somehow, I still don't get it ... until recently yesterday or today ...

deep inside of me ... I seem to gather these 3 words ... righteous in Christ ...

instead of the longer version "I am the righteousness of God in Christ" ... the shorter form is "I am righteous in Christ"

Now this is much easier to grasp.

Not my own good works nor my own failures ... but I am in Christ!

In Christ I am righteous, perfectly righteous before Abba.

Now what did I say I wanted from Abba?

I receive glory, I receive favour, I receive love, I receive joy, I receive success, I receive every blessing found in the completed work of Christ on the cross died only as if only for me alone.

all these things ... shall be added unto you ... if you seek first His kingdom (that is within you, righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit), and His righteousness.

So there is no more set backs or unanswered prayers that you know He would not hear, nor would he answer. No more ... no more feeling that our words bounce off the ceiling and never reach our Abba's ears.

Since we are IN CHRIST and CHRIST is His most beloved Son, and we are in Christ,
we are also His most beloved.

Ask anything in Jesus' name and He will do it. (the word "ask" here denotes demand or ask in a firm way)

Cheers fellow righteous in Christ!

Now you can be sure Abba surely answers our prayers ...
yes, every prayer ...

that good huh? yeah ... that good ...

why don't you try it?

O, I almost forgotten, my Pastor preached a very powerful truth on Sunday,
remember the scriptures on the mount of transfiguration? when Jesus and his disciples came down from the mount, many people ran towards them.

A man approached Jesus to cast out a demon in his only son.

And Jesus did. And the crowd was amazed at the wonderful work of God.

My Pastor said, why is it that the crowd was not amazed at the work of the devil?

We are God's children, God's miracles should be our daily life encounters. We should only be amazed if we encounter the works of the devil in our lives. Because the devil has no right to impose such on us as we have all been redeemed from the curse of the law (see Galatians 3) ... we should not accept such symtons of the curse at all ... be amazed beloved if there are sicknesses, debts, etc ... hovering around us ... for these certainly do not belong in the kingdom of God.

Hope you enjoy the canded sharing.

Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life".

John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus is no liar when He says He is the WAY.

Jesus is no liar when He says He is the TRUTH.

Jesus is no liar when He says He is the LIFE.

Without Jesus we can do NOTHING.

People can promise us many things, many reports can deceive us into believing so many things that we might fall into their professional traps again and again.

Yet when our Lord Jesus declares that He is the Truth ... we take a very long time to believe Him.

When HE the Lord of lords and the King of kings declares that He is the LIFE ... we try to find life apart from Him.

When He declares that He is the WAY ... we try to go some other ways to solve our problems ... go everywhere, seek everyone, do every other things except to come to Him.

Chances are we will be disappointed, and disappointed greatly if we don't come to Him to His throne of grace and love. To be made whole on the inside and to be restored on the outside.

So come to Jesus just as we are, full of our nonsense and our failures, come to Him, our Saviour and our Redeemer (the One who buys back everything we have lost and the One who restores, the One who adds more and blesses without heartaches). Experience His peace and love all over again just like the first time we knew HIM.

Don't forget your first love for the Lord and most importantly HIS GREAT LOVE towards you. The feeling got to be mutual and not one-sided.

Sing O Barren

Isaiah 54 (King James Version)

1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear;
break forth into singing, and cry aloud,
thou that didst not travail with child:
for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.

2Enlarge the place of thy tent,
and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations:
spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes;

3For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left;
and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles,
and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

4Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed:
neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame:
for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth,
and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.

5 For thy Maker is thine husband;
the LORD of hosts is his name;
and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel;
The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit,
and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.

7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee;
but with great mercies will I gather thee.

8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment;
but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me:
for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth;
so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee.

10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

I asked Abba, what songs he wanted me to sing?
In my distress and state of despair, what songs he wants me to sing?
How can I sing? How can I rejoice when I am so sad?
He reminded me of the past, how I comforted my loved ones ... in their times of distress
in their times of desperation, in their times when everyone seemed to have left them ...
How did you comfort them, my child?

I just strummed my guitar the best I knew how
and sang songs like "Is your burden heavy ...
does the future press you with its worries and its cares ...
Jesus will help you when on His name you call ...
He is always there hearing every prayer faithful and true,
walking by our side in His love we hide all the days through,
when you get discouraged just remember what to do,
reach out for Jesus, He's reaching out to you."

"Have you a heart that's weary, tending a load of care,
are you a soul that's seeking, rest from the burdens you bear.
Do you know, do you know my Jesus? do you know do you know my Friend?
Have you heard He loves you, and that He will abide till then end.

Who knows your disappointments, who cares each time you cry
who understands your heartaches, who dries the tears from your eyes ...
do you know my Jesus? do you know do you know my friend?
Have you heard He loves you, and that He will abide till the end."

"therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ
because the love of God was shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."

"with Christ in the vessel I can smile at the storm"

"Jesus is the answer for the world today, beside Him there's no other Jesus is the way"

"Behold what manner of love the Father has given unto us, that we should be called the sons of God"

"Jesus we enthrone You, we proclaim You are King"

Sing till His peace fills our hearts.

If we know that God our Abba is always on our side,
and He has already sent forth His words to bless us His children,
and when we return His words back to Him,
they would NEVER return to Him void without
ACCOMPLISHING HIS PURPOSES in our lives.

How much more we want to sing His praises and give Him our thanksgiving.

Try singing in our darkest times when nothing seems to go right,
and you will be surprised that the darkness just dispels ...
when the light of the World shines in our hearts and illumine our lives.

when was the last time we encountered set backs, how have we walked out of them?
as many as come to Him, He healeth them all, he blessed them all.

Do not be afraid to approach Him, especially when we tried so hard and yet we failed.
who can we go to except to Him our Saviour, how can we make it without Him?

we are so infinitely small, He is so infinitely BIG ...
He holds the whole universe in His hand
and we are in the palm of His hand, and the Father our Abba,
is also keeping us in Jesus' hand and
no one can ever snatch us out of the palm of His hand.

No matter how we walk, we are still in His hand,
the hand which has a nail scar which bleed and died for you and me
in exchange for our peace and our rest and the abundant life that He has already purchased for us.

He was made poor on the cross, that by His poverty we might become rich. HE bore all our sicknesses and our pains, that we can be made whole, by His stripes we were healed.

Jesus loves us very much, this is REAL love not cyber.

For this reason the Son of God was manifested

1 John 3:7-9 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
Public Domain

7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Jesus You were manifest in my life that you might DESTROY completely the works of the devil in my life.

I am so blessed ... super abundantly blessed the devil cannot touch me.

Hallelujah!

Praise You my Darling Jesus!
Yes, I am Jesus' darling. Yes, yes.

On being a good investor, on doing business

I think I better post this when things are rather smooth and going my way for me.

Tough times, really don't last but tough people do.

Have been involved in some investments lately and have been seriously learning the ropes to be a good investor.

One thing I failed to learn that is so crucial as abc in investment is

1. the cut loss strategy

When someone embarks on a venture or investment, the last thing that is on one's mind is to fail. Nobody likes to fail and pick up the pieces. Most would love to see things smooth sailing. But the wiser ones would think of contingency plans if this venture does not work out.

So, if we are involved in any investments at all, let us also give ourselves time to better equip ourselves and a strategy for cut loss. We would save ourselves alot of headaches in future.

2. Be better equipped.

Learn as much as we can from people as well as best selling books especially in the areas of their specialties, ask a friend who is good in the field to recommend a good book.

3. Practice

Don't just sit there and get worried, do something about it. Work on it, make friends with people who are in the same industry, trade or fields. Exchange ideas with them. For eg, an interior designer would have friends who are architects, those in the furniture and construction business. Hanging around birds of the same feather makes the flight alot much lighter and easier. Don't be a lone ranger, if you do, you may be happy making all your dollars but it is only one-sided happiness. Happiness is contagious, really, the more you share, the more those around get, and the more you receive too. Find me a generous person, and I can find you someone who is happy.

4. Passion

Please do not do anything that you do not have a passion for. Many of us make this kind of mistake, especially in the name of making a living. This would be one of the most miserable kind of existence, go and ask the cat, you will know he can agree with it anytime. Someone once said, when you find a job that you love, you will never work a day in your life. Everyday is really a joy. Come what may, it would be just like water off the duck feathers. If life throws you a lemon, you would turn it to be a lemonade in no time. Face life, don't run away from it. Life is fun and loving, enjoy it to the fullest. Especially when you are in Christ.

4. Take Profits some times

It may sound silly, but it is in bad tough times that I decide to take profits. And wow what a huge profits over the years, many times can amount to ten times what we are doing in our regular businesses. Yes, take profits ... and have a nice holiday ... pamper yourselves a little. Afterall, life is not just work and no play.

Didn't He say that He has come to bring abundant life? If this kind of abundant life is found only in heaven then He can keep it, I don't want it. I need it in the here and now. Heaven as we all know, is the ultimate of the ultimate, the best of the best, the purest of the purest form of life we can ever imagine to have. We would definitely be able to enjoy it when we get there. But I want the heavenly kind of life in the here and now.

If we look around us right now and we are still not happy and cannot put a smile on our face, we better do something about it.

Pray and ask the Lord to show you the light.

I ask the Lord for everything, for customers, for huge increase in my investment values, for good, honest and generous partners in my ventures, supportive and understanding family members and loved ones, having a good time in church and having a bunch of friends whom we can hang out with anytime we want, etc.

The Lord of heaven and earth already said, "Ask and it shall be given unto you."

Don't ask for small things, child of the Most High.

The River of Life

This Chinese New Year in Singapore, there is a red packet with the design
of a river with fishes and by the river banks there are trees of different colours.

The Lord spoke to me even through the red packets.

He said this is His red packet to me ...

In Ezekiel 47:9, 12

Ezekiel 47:9, 12

Everything will live where the river flows. This river is Abba's Holy Spirit inside of His children. And when the river flows, there is life, there are fishes, there are fruit trees, there is healing and health, there is abundance.

Also see Revelation 22

Revelation 22

I love my Abba He gives us such beautiful blessings this year.

May we see the effects of the river of life in our lives throughout this year.

Praise Jesus who made these possible for us.

The Speaking in Tongues in the Holy Spirit activates the River causing the river to flow out of our innermost being.

On Sunday, our Pastor from Chinese service, Pastor Mark showed us the Chinese character for the word "Life"

Life 命 is made up of two characters mouth 口 and command 令

If we do not like what we are seeing in our lives right now, why not open our mouth to speak life into our lives, our life will line up with the command of our mouth. Especially for the children of God, we have the breath of God (the Holy Spirit) inside of us.

The word predestined is made up of two words

注定

note 注 is made of of two words water 水 and Lord 主

set 定

so predestined is please note that our life is set by the water (the breath of God the Holy Spirit, the river of life) and the Lord (Lord Jesus Himself).

And it is good for His children.

Jesus Christ is Lord

He is Lord, He is Lord, He is risen from the dead and He is Lord
Every knee must bow, every tongue confess
That Jesus Christ is Lord

If you are a child of God, the next time the devil brings to you
something that is of the kingdom of darkness like sickness, housing loans, worry, fear, etc, just tell him : "you see the cross? these belong there."

mortgage loans, car loans, study loans, credit card bills ? they are paid in Jesus' name

my Bible says my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.
What about you? Who is your God?

I call my loans paid in full. All my worries I leave them at the foot of the cross of my Lord.

I call all my illnesses healed, I claim my healing, my inheritance as a child of the Most High. By His stripes I am healed, complete and whole in body, soul and spirit.

If God be for us who then can be against us? no one my darlings, no one.

I am rich in Christ who supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory. My life depicts His riches and His love showered unto me. My life exudes the joy of His presence, I am set apart from the world for His glory. His glory fills my life, my body is His temple, my body is filled with His glory, emitting His life within me. My face shines with His glory, the glory of His begotten Son, the begotten Son of the Most High God.

The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want, I have no lack in my life, I am super abundantly supplied. I have the giver of Life living on the inside of me, I am filled with joy every single day of my life. I am greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved in the Beloved Christ.

Jesus Christ is Lord of my life.
I let Him show forth His glory in my life.
Lord fill me continuously with Your glory.

Praise the Lord.

The Lord of the Harvest

In Matt 9:38 and Luke 10:2,

we see the Lord asking his disciples to ask the Lord (the Messiah) of the harvest to send out labourers into the harvest fields.

this is certainly no ordinary harvest but the harvest of souls ... and the labourers cannot be ordinary labourers but the labourers that are filled with the Holy Spirit.

We need the Holy Spirit to deal with the spirits of man and the things of the spirit.

Yet, on a personal note, many of us have been sowing and sowing and sowing for years and years and years into the harvest fields ... sowing our time, our energy, our efforts, our prayers, our hearts, our love and most of all our money.

How can there be a harvest if there has not been any sowing?

And if there is sowing, how can there be no harvests? If there had been failed crops, how can there be failed crops year after year after year?

Has there been something that we have failed to do?

In the above verses, we are told to ASK ... ask the Lord of the harvest (Jesus the Messiah) to send out labourers into the harvest fields ... this is takes place in the spirit realm and whatever takes place in the spirit realm will come to pass into the physical realm soon.

Wake up fellow children of the Most High, harvest time is here and they are ripe.

Let us ask LARGELY for His harvest. This is His harvest and we are His children, joint-heirs with Christ. We enjoy whatever He enjoys.

Hallelujah, to God be all the Glory!

Temptation of Jesus, Lord of the Harvest, 2 stories in one blog

Let us take a look at what happened in the wilderness at the time of the testing of our Lord Jesus immediately after His baptism and just before his public ministry.

Jesus the Son of Man and the Son of God was tested in 3 areas:

1. provision - as He was hungry and he was tested to turn stone into bread
2. ownership - that God would send angels to lift Him up lest He struck His feet against a stone.
3. identity - as He was shown and offered the kingdoms of the world and was asked to worship satan

have we been tested in any of these 3 areas recently?

The bible says we will not go through any temptation except what is common to man. God is faithful and He would not let us be tempted more than we can bear. Yet in the midst of temptation. He would also provide a way out (See 1Cor10:13) and has not our Lord Jesus been telling us that He is the door and the way?

The door to the sheepfold, the door of our security, the door to our provisions, the door to everything we ever need in this lifetime, the abundant life He has come to provide for us.

Not only is Jesus the door, He is also the way, the shepherd and the Lord of our lives if we let Him be.

I am writing to Christians here and so I would not elaborate on the details of the temptation which you can read more about it in Matthew 4:1-11

What I learn is

Knowing Him
1. provision ... don't be silly to ask for the ridiculous like a lottery win or make huge windfalls short term in some risky ventures (turning stones into bread), He can do it but many times He would like to provide for us in supernaturally natural, the sure quiet way of superabundance.

Knowing our position
2. ownership ... in the 2nd temptation, Jesus was asked to jump down from the highest point in the temple and God would send His angels to lift Him up preventing any of His limbs from striking a stone.

God owns us, not the other way round. We can choose to obey His voice and our life's circumstances will line up according to His good and perfect will for us. Don't try silly things to test the Lord's love for us. Like going for the extremes, having suicidal mindset, harming ourselves for nothing, losing all our savings in a bet or the stock markets, etc. These are things the unsecured beloved ones do.

Don't put the Lord your God to the test. Even our Lord Jesus did not succumb to the temptation of allowing Himself to jump from the highest point of the temple just to witness angels come lifting Him up with their hands.

There is no need to, because we are already blessed. We need not make a display of our blessedness before man nor demons.

Knowing our rights
3. identity and ownership
Jesus did not rebuke satan when satan said all the kingdoms of the world were given to him. The earth was indeed handled to him by man (Adam) when he fell.

However, the ultimate Lord and creator of the whole universe (not just earth alone) and the creator and master of satan himself - Jesus Christ should and does not need to worship satan to acquire all the kingdoms of the world. His trip to earth some more than 2000years ago was to engage head on in battle against this age-old enemy of mankind and to get done with him once and for all crushing his head at His heels.

Here we see the servant trying to fool the Master, and how many times have the masters the children of God been fooled into worshipping materialism, acquisitions of wealth, real estates and all things glorious? Pursue them and you will end up empty worshipping satan. Materialism would handle you if you are not careful to handle it.

Afterall, did not Jesus Himself say "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you"?

"You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve" .

and watch satan leave you alone and angels come tending to your needs.

The Lord spoke to me about the parable of the harvest field, that it is ripe for harvest. And asking us ask the Lord of the Harvest to send out more labourers ... remember this passage?

Then I asked the Lord what He means ... as I know that I am currently not involved in evangelism work ... where is there the harvest of souls yet?

He answered me, YOUR harvest field is ripe for harvest, the seeds you have sown are now ripe for the harvest, ask the Lord of the Harvest to send out labourers the ANGELS to gather in the harvest for you.

Wow! Hallelujah! I have never seen this passage in this light before!

By the way, I read this Lord of the Harvest passage concurrently with the 2 blind men telling Jesus they want to see, and Jesus said to them receive your sight!

That was why I prayed, show me your light from this passage and He did.

My harvest ... great!
