Let's fulfil some Singaporeans' Christmas Wishes today!
Check this website out http://www.bbsgb.org.sg/fulfill.html for gifts you may want to buy to bless them.
Deadline was 20 Dec, just read about their story from http://sg.news.yahoo.com/cna/20071220/tap-318427-231650b.html .
But there are still quite a number of unfulfilled wishes.
I am sure we can make a difference this Christmas ...

The Earth is the Lord's and is ours to enjoy!
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours,
O LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.

For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

O such love, such grace, such greatness, such faithfulness!
For your Maker is your husband— the LORD Almighty is his name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.
Isaiah 54:5

What a husband - Jesus!
The LORD has made proclamation to the ends of the earth: "Say to the Daughter of Zion,
'See, your Savior comes! See, his reward is with him, and his recompense
accompanies him.' "
Isaiah 62:11

Salvation is found in no other name but the name of Jesus
16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 10:9
I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
10b
... I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
11
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
I must confess that in the past, I am one of those that used to tell others
that they are going to end up in hell if they do not believe in Jesus Christ.
Though this may be true ... but I do not do that anymore ...
I found that people who responded to invite our Lord Jesus
to come into their life based on fear of death don't really receive
the full blessing of the true gospel.
And most don't attend church services for a long time thereafter...
Abundant life, everlasting life or eternal life ... zoe life (zoe life - the God kind of life)...
actually kicks in when one receives Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour.
HE then becomes our Shepherd daily leading us, guiding us into
good pastures and guarding us from all harms. HE, who is the Word,
and our good Shepherd, means what HE says when HE says
I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
Rom 5:21
so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign
through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
if eternal and abundant life that comes with salvation means love, joy, peace,
happiness, laughter, giggles, smiles, good health and wealth,
prosperity, financial prosperity, windfalls, winning lucky draws,
reigning and being victorious in life, success, blessings, goodwill and favors of good businesses, job promotions, top grades in schools, etc ...
then death could also mean sicknesses, diseases, lack, debts, bad habits that could not be broken on our own, eg. smoking, pornography, telling lies, gambling, stealing, undue worry, negativitism, any other destructive symptoms ...constant unbelief that good will indeed happen to us ... etc ...
in Abraham's days, the people there lived to a ripe old age ...
about 120 and beyond ... Abraham died at 175 ...
Gen25
7 Altogether, Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years.
8 Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age,
an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people.
not died as an aged sick ridden man, but died at a good old age, having lived an abundant life ... a long good life ...
let us see another one ... Job ...
Job 42:16
After this, Job lived a hundred and forty years; he saw his children and their children to the fourth generation. 17 And so he died, old and full of years.
hello, r u with me here?
in today's times, we can also read of people living to a good old years of 80, 90, 100 and beyond ... am I right?
I want to go in perfect health having lived a long good life, how about you?
I have found that life is so much more meaningful if we live for ourselves first and for others as well ...as we continue to enjoy what Jesus has personally come, died and resurrected to give us ... our blood bought right to a long good life ... blessed to be a blessing ... a blessing to ourselves, to those around us and to the nations too ... I believe in my Lord Jesus ...
seriously, I don't believe in asking people to buy fire insurance (keeping themselves away from hell) ... reminding them that their time is coming up soon ... frightening them to hurry to God ... esp to our dearly beloved elderly ones in our midst ...
instead, I truly believe the Power of God might just zap their mortal bodies to enable them to enjoy the zoe life that God has intended for each and every one of His children, the elderly included ...
The prayer of inviting Jesus Christ into our hearts to become our Personal Lord and Saviour ... if we believe in our hearts and say it with our mouths ... the deal is sealed ... and it is irreversible and irrevocable ... no matter what ... even whether we attend church or not ...
Dear Father
Thank You for loving me, thank You for sending Your one and only Son Jesus to die for me … to die for my wrongdoings. It is by Jesus’ blood that my sins can be wiped away completely … Lord Jesus, I invite You now to do that for me.
Lord Jesus please come into my life today and become my personal Saviour and Lord. The things that are not right with my life right now, by your grace, by your favour, will indeed be made right as I walk with You daily.
The great exchange has taken place, You died for me and as me on the Cross. So that I can live for You and as You right now.
You have taken my punishment for me, You have taken my illnesses and diseases away from me, in its place You have given me Your divine health.
Lord Jesus, You the Son of the Most High, the creator of the Universe, was stripped to nothing on the cross just for me, so that by Your poverty, I might become rich, and Your Word says, I am the heir of the world (cosmos).
You bore the pain and the stripes on Your body bore all my sicknesses and diseases that I can be made whole and healthy and continue to enjoy divine health.
Lord Jesus, thank You for all You have done for me.
Thank you also for sending Your Holy Spirit to live in my heart to help me and to guide me in all that I do as I walk with You.
Now indeed I thank You for making me the Beloved of the Most High as I am now in You Lord Jesus.
Cheers ! and Amen!
if it is man, it is natural
if it is God, it is supernatural ...
treat the elderly with respect and dignity ... they have worked so hard to give us this better world to live in...
have fun in life!

Your mountains will melt away if ...
5 God is almighty and yet does not depise anyone! And he is perfect in his understanding.
7 He does not ignore the good men but honors them by placing them upon eternal, kingly thrones.
8 If trouble comes upon them and they are enslaved and afflicted, 9 then he takes the trouble to point out to them the reason, what they have done that is wrong, or how they have behaved proudly.
10 He helps them hear his instruction to turn away from their sin.
11 If they listen and obey him, then they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives.
12 If they won’t listen to him, they shall perish in battle and die because of their lack of good sense.
16 How he wanted to lure you away from danger into a wide and pleasant valley and to prosper you there.
17 But you are too preoccupied with your imagined grievances against others.
18 Watch out! Don’t let your anger at others lead you to scoffing at God! Don’t let your suffering embitter you at the only one who can deliver you.
19 Do you really think that if you shout loudly enough against God, he will be ashamed and repent? Will this put an end to your chastisement?
20 Do not desire the nighttime, with its opportunities for crime.
21 Turn back from evil, for it was to prevent you from getting into a life of evil that God sent this suffering.
22 Look, God is all-powerful. Who is a teacher like him?
16 How he wanted to lure you away from danger into a wide and pleasant valley and to prosper you there.
11 If they listen and obey him, then they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives.
1. Turn to God, turn away from your mountain of trouble
2. Have a good opinion of Him, seek Him, listen to Him, do what He tells you to do
3. Do not rebell against Him or speak evil of or complain about Him, He is the only One who can help
4. Trust Him, praise Him ...
5. Turn away from evil, turn to Him ...
you will find that prosperity is on its way to you ...
sometimes it means tithing your last dollar away ... and see how the floodgates of heaven opens up to pour out so rich blessings upon you ... as long as there is a need ... it has been proven in the lives of godly men and women time and time again ... godly because God intervened in their lives in the most desperate of situations ...
it is easy to be godly when things around us are rosy and sweet ... and sometimes complacent too ...
